Story
Isle of Ely Produce is a family-owned business, ran by the Boutwood family since 1994 however their involvement in the potato industry stretches back another ten years.
The Founders are passionate about the business and although long established, still have plans for innovation, environmental development and growth.
John Boutwood, Managing Director, is proud to say that Isle of Ely Produce is a local, Fenland business that operates nationally and internationally. Our personal touch is supported by significant resource, expertise and reputation.
The
Farm
Oak Tree Farm can be found in the heart of the fens, a major agricultural region that spreads across the East of England, taking in parts of Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. This area contains around half of all the most productive farmland in England.
The black, peaty soil that the fens are celebrated for allow the land to grow over a third of all vegetables and a quarter of all potatoes in the United Kingdom and gives our potatoes a unique and distinctive taste, different from anywhere else in the world.
